Conus
pauperculus (Sowerby II, 1834)
Bis auf die Streifung an der Stirn, welche
bei dem fossilen Individuum etwas stärker ausgeprägt ist als bei den leitenden
Exemplaren von Japon, welche zum Vergleiche herangezogen wurden, ist die
Ubereinstimmung mit Letzteren eine so grosse, dass auf diesen geringen
Unterschied hin eine Abtrennung nicht vorgenommen werden kann. Ein Exemplar.

the striation on the forehead, which is somewhat more pronounced in the fossil
individual than in the leading specimens from Japan, which were used for
